Mathis, Kinsler having surgery

Pitcher Doug Mathis is undergoing surgery to have an inflammed bursa sac removed from his right shoulder. He will be out 6-8 weeks. Second baseman Ian Kinsler will have surgery to repair a hernia and also is finished for the season.
