Padilla on the DL
The Rangers are going to put pitcher Vicente Padilla on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring. Apparently he injured himself doing sprints in the outfield in Kansas City. The Rangers are still sorting out the other moves they are going to make but Kameron Loe is expected to rejoin the club soon.

Which is it? Strained Neck or strained left hamstring? Are we really going to go into 2009 counting on 35 wins from Padilla and Millwood? If we are going to keep Millwood hopefully he will forget about kickboxing and do something that is more in line with what will help him be more consistent. He was lights out today, but he still had a scare on the mound. Fight through your pain Millwood, have some intestinal fortitude. Padilla seems disinterested because we are out of it. I wonder really what is going on with him? At least he had some personal pride and rebounded., Millwood seems to have no personal pride, 162 games is grueling, but come on you were brought here to be our ace and well you haven't been one. Padilla was the best pitcher, but Feldman has been of late. I guess George Straight sang it best, "you have got to have an ace in the hole." Well that is where millie has been in the hole. Does any pitcher on this team have a desire to win 20 freaking games?????

This post puzzles me,d'god. Millwood leaves after 6 2/3 innings, having thrown 101 pitches, and your complaing about "no personal pride"?? Do you know something we don't? Another rumour, perhaps?

No Pride"? "Fight through your pain Millwood, have some intestinal fortitude". A statement like that is quite confusing. Maybe you have been watching another pitcher or another team. I'd say, that after coming off the DL and pitching two CG's and his performance yesterday, indicates that your above statement is BS, which most are. Maybe you could provide "US" a list of AL pitchers who have pitched three or more CG's games this year. Take a break from here and do something constructive. Head to the Gulf Coast and help the folks down there recover from the storm. That would give us a break also.
