Whoa Nellie! I thought Washington said, Broussard was going to hit against right and left handed pitchers. Broussard is a platoon player, everything in his past indicated that, now we played him, exposed him for what he was and he is cut? Everyone in the league knew what he was and we traded for him to play him everyday? Kudos, for whomever decided to pull the plug, but he will go somewhere else, platoon and do fine. He can't hit left handed pitching, Washington's decision to play him everyday at the start of the season almost cost Wash his job. We now have cut Botts and Broussard. Broussard should have went first and Botts should have stayed. Is Shelton better than Botts? Now Cat gets some at bats which is a good thing, but he ain't no youngster on a team that is reportedly rebuilding?????
