McCarthy scratched
The Rangers have scratched Brandon McCarthy from Wednesday's start against the Angels because of soreness in his right elbow. OK, I take back the post about hoping Rheinecker not starting a trend...
The Cinco or Sies (my spanish ***** so forgive any erros) may get their wishes through attrition but that doesn't necessarily help the overall plan much. Some guys could blossom but some could go the other way. Conventional wisdom guys say most of our top young starters need one more year in the minors yet recent successes elsewhere definitely make you think giving them a shot now can't hurt.
Man, this could get tough.
Mr. Ryan,
Please have a discussion with Mr. Connor about how pitching in the Majors works, sooner than later, before our entire starting rotation opens the season on the DL.
