Moreland, Profar get good news

Mitch Moreland (left ankle surgery) and Jurickson Profar (right subscapular strain) have had follow-up MRIs and been reevaluated by Dr. Keith Meister as they continue to rehab from their season-ending injuries.
Dr. Meister reports that Moreland has been cleared for a progressive running program and will then progress to full activity. He should come to spring training with no restrictions.
Profar continues to make significant progression in his rehab program and should begin throwing in January. He is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season.

I need for Profar to get on to a playing field before I can fully believe that he still has a chance at a major league career. Shoulder surgeries are often a death sentence to a pitching career. I hope that’s not the case here for a very talented and still very young position player.

More wait and see. Not saying it’s wrong, but it’s dreary in the winter time.

Cautious optimism on Pro. ..my only hope for him in 2015 is that it is a healthy one for him…
That would be huge IMO.
