Andrus getting shut down from throwing

Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus, who is dealing with a sore right elbow, will not throw for the next three days. Next step is for Dr. Meister to evaluate him on Friday so Andrus will not play until at least the weekend.

Wow. Is there anybody on the Rangers not injured yet this spring?

Let’s hope we are getting them over with before the season, And Holland should be banned from dogs until retirement!! lol

Prince hasn’t been hurt… Yu’s still strong… and the Martins (Leonys & Perez)…

But, the abuse of pitchers (throw hard, throw hard, throw hard rather than throw smart and PITCH) is getting worse. If someone doesn’t start protecting them, we’ll be rolling pitching machines out to the mound – or utility infielders.

Agree 100% Now Yu is out.

Reblogged this on Sports chat,From DIRK, to Faith to Jerry(WTH!!) and commented:
Please dont rush it Elvis, we need you for the long haul on the 2014 World Series Express!!!
Jump in Chip, I’m drivin !!!

Unfortunately, we do need Andrus.

Did anyone see Ogando last night? Once .. he showed promise; now, it looks like he doesn’t have a clue. Maybe he could still smash through a couple innings of relief with a fastball and slider – maybe not. It appears the last three starter spots have to come from Saunders, Scheppers, Ross, and Hanson. Will someone please stand up.

Who is the face of the Texas Rangers? Oh nooooo … don’t tell me the Beard.

Suggestion … trade Andrus and Moreland for starting pitching. Sardinas and Adducci can fill their spots with little, if any, falloff.
