Nelson Cruz will be activated Monday

The Rangers will activate Nelson Cruz on the 40-man roster Monday in their tiebreaker game against the Rays, general manager Jon Daniels said Sunday. He completed his 50-game suspension for violation Major League Baseball’s Basic Agreement and its Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment program.A following move on the roster will be announced before the game.

Daniels did not say if Cruz would be in the lineup and said it would be Rangers manager Ron Washington’s decision.

“We’re playing really good baseball, and the guys are excited,” Cruz said. “I’m excited, and I’m happy to be back and be with my teammates and play the game that I love.”

Great…but leave Rios in RF……he has much better defense

TRUE TRUE RIOS RUNS FASTER IN RIGHT FIELD

come on ron washington I KNOW YOU ARE SMARTER AND LEAVE ALEX RIOS IN RIGHT FIELD

i know right. Put Cruz on DH.

don’t know about wash s smarts?

Cruz as DH makes sense tomorrow.

Get rid of A.J.(swing at every freaking pitch) P. Have him only come in if we need him late in a game and have Nelly DH. With Soto playing as well as he is when they give him a chance, he should catch, and Nelly DH, and A.J. as needed.

Play Nellie at DH leave outfields as it is

Please leave Alex Rios in tonight! He’s had more RBI’s than Cruz every would have, he’s got better defense and he’s faster. Plus he’s helped get the Rangers to tonight. He deserves to be there.
