No decision from Cruz; Garza apologizes

Sunday morning…

Nelson Cruz said he expects to hear from Major League Baseball tomorrow regarding a possible suspension. He has not said if he will appeal. He said he has not made a decision.

“I haven’t decided what I’m going to do about anything,” Cruz said.

Asked if he’ll play Monday against the Angels, Cruz said, “That’s my hope.”

Matt Garza apologized for a Twitter rant against Athletics infielder Eric Sogard and his family. Garza said some stuff on Twitter Saturday night while stil steamed about the Athletics bunting tactics on Saturday.

“All I want to say is I let my competitive spirit cross outside the lines, and that shouldn’t happen. I let my passion, my fire carry over, and that’s not how this game should be played. And for that I apologize to the Sogards for anything that was said through my Twitter. That’s all I have. I regret what happened, and I’m just looking forward to a great game today.”

More on the website on the 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Garza looks forward to a great game in which he does not have to field bunts. Yep, it’s a man’s game alright.

Let’s be real. Garza said what he meant and he meant what he said. He’s a jerk of the highest order and he’s a childish prick. End story.

Garza is a douche. Glad the Red Sox passed on him for a guy like Peavy. Someone needs to tell him that bunting is part of the he should stop whining like a little bitch.

My question is how did we not get and/or ask for Soriano in the deal for Garza. The Yankees got him for nothing. We trade 3 to 5 players and don’t get Soriano? Did we not want him and his contract? Garza was obviously drunk when he tweeted. Maybe he and Scheppers should get together?
