Rain delay….blame it on the World Wide Leader

The Rangers and the Cardinals are in a rain delay. Blame it on the World Wide Leader. This game was originally scheduled for 1:15 p.m. and then moved to Sunday night so it could be broadcast nationally on cable television. Otherwise the game would be over and the Rangers would be on their way to New York.

Did get to 8 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis – which is absolutely spectacular – but miss the Super Moon because of more thunderstorms at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers.

There is also another river flowing quite smoothly in front of the Cardinals dugout.

Any pictures of the Cathedral?

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy you’re reporting on the Rangers. I enjoy hearing you on KTBB in East Texas. I would like to see if you can answer a question for me. On the Ranger’s Texas flag logo, the blue color blees into the red at the bottom. Is there a significance to this or is it just the way the logo was made? Thanks again for all your input.

I’ve been to that Cathedral – right next to the Ach Grounds. A wonderful oasis of worship in downtown St Louis!

That should read “Arch Grounds”
