Rangers grab another shortstop in fourth

The Rangers picked shortstop Isaiah Kiner-Falefa with 130th overall selection in the fourth round.

Kiner-Falefa went to Mid-Pacific Institute in Hawaii. He’s listed at 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds. He’s committed to play for San Jose State. He was a First-Team All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu selection and batted .333 in 2012.

Kiner-Falefa is the second shortstop selection for the Rangers. Their first five picks have been shortstops and pitchers.
