Harrison to have back surgery

The Rangers have announced pitcher Matt Harrison will undergo surgery to repair a herniated disk in his lower back. He will be out until at least the All-Star break. The Rangers are going to stay with Justin Grimm in the rotation for now and Colby Lewis can return at some point in May. He is throwing live batting practice in Surprise and is in the final month of recovering from flexor tendon surgery.
