Borbon makes team; Lindblom, Burns sent down

Julio Borbon has made the Opening Day roster and the Rangers have sent down pitchers Josh Lindblom and Cory Burns. Borbon was out of options and this allows the Rangers to keep him for at least nine days until pitcher Nick Tepesch is added to the roster. The Rangers would still have to send him through outright waivers to get him to the Minor Leagues. But they may have a better chance of doing that if they wait until after Opening Day and other teams have set their Major League roster.

Borbon will likely be limited in his playing time while he is here.
