Grimm, Wells sent down; Tepesch in position to be fifth starter
Nick Tepesch has the fifth starter spot all but locked up.
The Rangers have told pitchers Justin Grimm and Randy Wells they are going to Triple A. That leaves Tepesch as the last man standing among all the fifth starter candidates who began in camp. The only other candidate is Derek Lowe and the Rangers are looking at him as a middle reliever more than a starter.
Right now Nick Tepesch has a grip on the last spot in the rotation. He pitches today against the Rockies.
