McClellan staying with Rangers
Kyle McClellan met with the Rangers on Monday and is staying with the organization. He is sidelined with a strained ribcage muscle and it could be 6-8 weeks before he pitches in a game. He is in camp on a Minor League contract and could take his out if he’s not added to the Major League roster by Opening Day. But he said he wants to stay with the Rangers and do his rehab work in Surprise.
Also Leonys Martin went to Miami because he has been given American citizenship.
