Nolan Ryan: “Nothing to report.”
Nolan Ryan arrived at the Rangers complex around 9:30 in the morning right as Ron Washington finished his media session and reporters were strolling back to the press box. Ryan stopped and chatted briefly with four reporters but said he had “nothing to report” on his situation and the possibility of stepping down as Rangers CEO. Ryan made it sound like nothing has been settled even though he returned to Texas on Friday to meet with owners Ray Davis and Bob Simpson. Ryan said he would talk when he knew something but that’s not the case right now.
