Beltre, Profar pull out of WBC
Jurickson Profar has told the Rangers that he will not play in the WBC. He wants to stay in camp and try to make the team as a utility player. Third baseman Adrian Beltre is not going to play for the Dominican Republic. He strained his right calf muscle and although the injury is not considered serious, he does not want to push it in the WBC.

I sure hope Beltre is ok! I think it is VERY SMART of Profar to focus on his career and making the team – VERY SMART. There is always time for him to play in WBC later once his career is established.
