PItching to trade
Could the Rangers trade for pitching? There is pitching available at the Winter Meetings.
The most intriguing name is R.A. Dickey, the Mets winner of the Cy Young Award. Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said that he has had preliminary discussions with teams concerning Dickey.
The Rangers are interested in Dickey.
The Rays also have pitching to trade. They are not going to trade David Price but a source said they are looking to move a pitcher. James Shields would be the most desired pitcher off their staff but there are still some doubts if the Rays would be truly serious about trading him.
