Hamilton declines offer
Free agent outfielder Josh Hamilton has declined the Rangers qualifying offer of $13.3 million. The Rangers are still free to negotiate with him but will get draft pick compensation if he signs with another team. Rangers general manager Jon Daniels has made it clear the club would still like to re-sign Hamilton.
