Ryan: Can’t wait on Hamilton
Nolan Ryan, meeting with the media on Wednesday, said the Rangers can’t wait all winter for Josh Hamilton to make a decision on where he’ll play. Ryan said the Rangers have to start look at other ways to improve their ballclub or they might miss out on some opportunities that are available. That could include free agent pitcher Zack Greinke. The Rangers are interested in Greinke. Ryan said Greinke has a good chance to hold up for a long period of time because of his command and because he has a good feel for pitching.
