The Rangers have announced they are not renewing the contracts of Triple A pitching coach Terry Clark, hitting coach Brant Brown or Class A Myrtle Beach hitting coach Julio Garcia
Nelson Cruz is not starting against Cleveland on Tuesday night. Manager Ron Washington is giving him the night off. No word yet on the availability of pitcher Roy Oswalt and his sore right flexor tendon.
Mike Napoli is at Double A Frisco on rehab assignment Tuesday night. He will catch Tuesday and Wednesday, and then the Rangers will see if he’s ready to be activated.
Joe Nathan is in the Rangers outfield wearing a Dallas Cowboys uniform. He is a Giants fan and loss a bet with Mike Adams, a Cowboys fan, on the game last week.
