Oswalt clears waivers according to report
According to FOX Sports Ken Rosenthal, Rangers pitcher Roy Oswalt has cleared waivers. That gives the Rangers an opportunity to trade him before Friday. That doesn’t mean the Rangers will but they have the opportunity.
The Rangers have a need for a utility infielder and could be looking to upgrade that position if they make a deal before Friday. Rosenthal suggests the Dodgers, who just acquired utility infielder Nick Punto from the Red Sox.
