Luis Hernandez Designated for Assignment
Luis Hernandez has been designated for assignment by the Rangers. Right now the Rangers do not have utility IF on the roster. Both players who filled that role this season: Hernandez and Alberto Gonzalez have been taken off the Rangers 40 man roster.
This might mean that top prospect IF Jurikson Profar could be in line for a September call-up to fill the utility IF role. Stay tuned.
