Dempster to miss Toronto series

Pitcher Ryan Dempster has been placed on the restricted list after leaving the team for personal reasons. He was scratched from Saturday’s start against the Blue Jays. Roy Oswalt will start. Dempster is expected to rejoin the team on Monday.
