Feliz scratched from Sunday start
Disconcerting news for the Rangers about a big piece…
Rangers pitcher Neftali Feliz has been scratched from Sunday’s start with Triple A Round Rock because of further discomfort in his right elbow. He was scheduled to pitch for Round Rock on rehab assignment against Memphis. No word yet on when he will pitch again. Feliz has been on the disabled list since May 18 with a sprained right elbow and he was supposed to throw 80 pitches in five innings on Sunday. That would have put him close to returning. No word yet on how much of a setback this will be.
Mitch Moreland is also playing again tonight in Frisco on rehab assignment.
