Lewis: “Don’t want to push it.”
Pitcher Colby Lewis said he wants to find out what Dr. Keith Meister says before knowing if he’ll pitch on Tuesday. But Lewis sounds like he’s going to miss at least one start.
“You can’t push an arm issue,” Lewis said. “A lot of other things you can push through but an arm issue, you don’t want to mess with. I have a lot of years left on the mound. I don’t want to push it and hurt my arm or my career. If it’s another two weeks or a month, that’s what needs to happen.”
