Ogando activated. Uehara not
The Rangers have activated Alexi Ogando off the disabled list but will keep Koji Uehara sidelined. Uehara is still experiencing some tightness in his lat muscle in his right ribcage and will remain on the disabled list. Ogando replaces catcher Yorvit Torrealba, who is on paternity leave during the Rangers two game series with the Athletics. Torrealba is expected back Friday in Anaheim.
