Rangers bringing Martinez to Seattle
The Rangers are bringing Triple A catcher Luis Martinez to Seattle. They are not activating him but want him here in case something happens with their catchers. Mike Napoli is day-to-day with a painful bruise above his right knee. He is not expected to play in the next two games in Seattle.
Martinez could be activated on Sunday if needed. He played in 22 games for the Padres last year.
