Eppley claimed by Yankees

The Yankees have claimed right-hander reliever Cody Eppley from the Rangers, according to Rangers officials. The Rangers designated him for assignment on Wednesday to make room on their 40-man roster. The Rangers had to add pitcher Robbie Ross and infielder Alberto Gonzalez to the Opening Day roster
