Rangers looking for right-handed bat
Manager Ron Washington said the Rangers are looking for a right-handed bat here in the waning days of Spring Training. The Rangers were hoping Conor Jackson could be that candidate but they released him on Monday.
“We’re looking to fill whatever weaknesses we can fill,” Washington said. “If we can’t fill it inside, we’ll look outside. Clubs are always talking.”
