Gonzalez passes on non-roster offer
Left-handed reliever Michael Gonzalez, who is still a free agent, turned down a non-roster offer from the Rangers. Gonzalez thanked the Rangers for the time he had with them last year but is looking for a big league contract. The Rangers expect him to sign somewhere else in the near future. The Rangers are still interested in upgrading their left-handed relief options.
The Rangers made the offer last week.
