Dotel could be Rangers target
One of the meetings the Rangers had on Tuesday was with represenatives of the Beverly Hill Sports Council.
Among their clients is right-handed reliever Octavio Dotel, who had a combined record of 5-4 with a 3.50 ERA in 65 games with the Blue Jays and Cardinals last season.
There are Rangers officials who have a high opinion of Dotel. They are looking for bullpen help and it may become a more significant focus if they are unable to add starting pitching.
