Astros have permission to talk to Levine
MLB.Com’s Brian McTaggart is reporting that the Astros have obtained permission to talk to Rangers assistant GM Thad Levine. The Astros are looking for a general manager to replace Ed Wade and also have permission to talk to Rays GM Andrew Friedman. Levine has been Jon Daniels assistant for six years.
