Rangers hold off on Gentry
The Rangers are holding off on activating Craig Gentry off the disabled list until Wednesday. Players on the 7-day concussion disabled list can use up to five days on medical rehabiliation assignment. Gentry has three going into Monday.
The extra two days allows the Rangers to use an extra reliever for those two games. They will likely drop a position player on Tuesday when Alexi Ogando returns from paternity leave and then drop the extra reliever on Wednesday
