Webb to have rotator cuff surgery
Rangers starter Brandon Webb, who had a season-ending setback in his rehabilitation process, has elected to have rotator cuff surgery on his injured right shoulder.
Dr. Keith Meister will perform the surgery on August 1. There is no timetable for Webb’s ultimate rehabilitation, but he will be out for at least the remainder of the season.

Still think the risk the Rangers took was worth it on Webb! Now, I just hope they don’t end up with Heath Bell. Would rather see Glen Perkins MIN or Mike Adams if you’re dealing with San Diego.
