Zach Phillips traded to Baltimore

The Rangers have traded pitcher Zach Phillips to the Orioles for infielder Nick Green and cash. Green has been assigned to Triple A Round Rock. Green was hitting .208 in 87 games at Triple A Norfolk. A right-handed hitter, he has played in 393 Major League games with seven different organizations with a career .237 batting average, .305 on-base percentage and .348 slugging percentage. Phillips was designated for assignment last week when pitcher Scott Feldman was added to the 40-man roster.
