Feldman for O’Day
The Rangers have activated pitcher Scott Feldman and optioned pitcher Darren O’Day to Triple A. The Rangers also designated pitcher Zach Phillips for assignment to make room on the 40-man and promoted pitcher Martin Perez to Triple A Round Rock.
O’Day, who missed over two months because of hip surgery, was 0-1 with a 4.22 ERA. Feldman has been on the disabled list since the beginning of the season after undergoing off-season knee surgery. He was 3-1 with a 4.17 ERA in ten games in the Minor Leagues.
