Tommy Hunter to throw out of the bullpen in rehab stint
Right-handed pitcher Tommy Hunter will pitch out of the bullpen in Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday.
Hunter has made five starts in rehab, carrying a 4.01 ERA. He’s on the disabled list with a strained groin.
Rangers manager Ron Washington said the move was made to see how Hunter would handle coming out of the bullpen, potentially for the Rangers.
