Borbon optioned to Round Rock
The Rangers have taken Julio Borbon off the disabled list and optioned him to Round Rock. Borbon, sidelined with a strained hamstring muscle, had been on medical rehabilitation assignment. Now he is back to being a Minor League player. Endy Chavez is now presumably the Rangers regular center fielder with Craig Gentry still in the Major Leagues and David Murphy as their fourth outfielder.
Chavez is hitting .415 and is back in the lineup on Friday night.

WHAT TOOK SO LONG!
