Roster move amendment
The Rangers amended their roster moves from earlier in the day. Instead of sending Endy Chavez going on the disabled list for a strained right hamstring, Texas optioned Chris Davis to AAA-Round Rock.

Mr Sullivan,
Would you please explain Chris Davis’ standing now with regard to his options? I understood at the start of the year that he had one left. Does thie mean that if he is recalled again this year that he cannot be sent back down without going through waivers? If the Rangers are smart they wont even think about trying that trick. They got lucky a few years ago when they did it to Nellie Cruz and he cleared waivers but Davis wont. Someone would take him in a heartbeat
