Hamilton to start swinging

Josh Hamilton will begin swinging a bat  and hitting off a tee on Wednesday. It has been three weeks since Hamilton fractured a bone below his right shoulder sliding into home plate in Detroit. The original prognosis was he would be sidelined 6-8 weeks and it would be four weeks before he could start swinging a bat

So he could be ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation.

Scott Feldman threw four innings without a problem in extended Spring Training as he continues to recover from off-season surgery on his right knee.
