Teagarden, Tomko recalled. Kirkman down, Tobin to DL
The Rangers have called up catcher Taylor Teagarden and pitcher Brett Tomko from Triple A Round Rock. They have sent down pitcher Michael Kirkman and placed pitcher Mason Tobin on the disabled list. The Rangers now have three catchers and have increased the versatility of catcher Mike Napoli.

Will Teagarden ever be anything more than a back up catcher? I’m still not worried. I think they will figure something out about this bullpen. I just hope they do it soon. One concern that I do have is that the Rangers’ players don’t seem real focused right now. At least, that’s what it looks like on T.V. Maybe it’s just me.
