Scheppers back on disabled list
The Rangers have placed pitcher Tanner Scheppers back on the disabled list after more back trouble. Scheppers pitched two innings on Saturday and allowed three runs on four hits, no walks and three strikeouts. The Rangers said Scheppers just didn’t have enough strength in his legs to make his start.
