Daniels, Young mend fences
Rangers general manager Jon Daniels confirmed that he has had two meetings with infielder Michael Young to discuss their differences that came up over the winter.
“They were productive conversations,” Daniels said.
Daniels admitted that there was not better communication between the club and the player. He also regretted that Young took undeserved criticism from the media and fans.
Daniels said he hasn’t ruled out anything but doesn’t expect Young to be traded before Opening Day.
Young has not yet commented on the meetings.
