Webb shut down from live batting practice
Rangers pitcher Brandon Webb was shut down Wednesday after not being able to get loose while preparing to throw live batting practice.
Webb, who missed the past two seasons with a shoulder injury, was scheduled to pitch batting practice and warmed up. But he did not make it to the mound. Instead he was shut down and will be examined by Dr. Keith Meister.
The Rangers don’t know what his next step will be.
