Borbon scratched but Washington still wants him in center
Julio Borbon was scratched from Wednesday’s lineup so he could leave camp and deal with a personal issue. David Murphy started in center for the Rangers.
Manager Ron Washington is still saying that Borbon is his center field. That was Washington’s intention coming into camp.
“I haven’t changed my mind,” Washington said.
