Rangers agree to terms with Lowe
The Rangers have avoided an arbitration hearing by agreeing to terms with Mark Lowe on a one-year deal worth $1.2 million.
Lowe could also earn an extra $100,000 in incentives. Lowe will get an extra $25,000 if he pitches in 55 games, $25,000 if he pitches in 60 games, $25,000 if he pitches in 65 games and $25,000 if he finishes 20 games.
Lowe was acquired from the Mariners in the July 9 trade involving Cliff Lee.
