Washington gets two-year extension
Manager Ron Washington has agreed to a two-year extension. The Rangers are having a press conference this afternoon to announce it.
This puts Washington under contract for two more years after he led the Rangers to a 90-72 record, their first dibision title in 11 years and their first World Series in franchise history. He has been the Rangers manager since 2007.

Congrats Wash! Great job over the last 4 years. Your teams always exceed expectations. You will go down as the greatest Rangers manager ever!
