Guerrero Not In Game 2 Lineup: David Murphy In LF – Cruz To RF

Vladimir Guerrero is in not the Rangers lineup for Game 2 of the World Series. David Murphy is in the lineup playing LF,  Nelson Cruz is replacing Vladimir Guerrero in RF.  Guerrero committed 2 errors in the Rangers 11-7 Game 1 loss to the Giants; he also had 1 hit and 2 RBIs.  Murphy appeared as pinch hitter in Game 1, he had a single and drove in 1 run; Cruz also had 1 hit and 2 RBIs.

 

Matt Treanor, as usual, is the catcher for starting pitcher CJ Wilson.

Vlad was not comfortable out there last night. I know we’ll see him as a pinch hitter sometime during the game. Now would someone sit down and talk to Ian Kinsler about turning right at 1st base, I have no kids of little league age …maybe one of you could have your kid explain it to him. It’s a 4 win series…there’s always hope.
