Rangers officially set rotation for ALCS

Wednesday at the Ballpark….

* Manager Ron Washington made it official. The Rangers rotation for the ALCS will be C.J. Wilson in Game 1, Colby Lewis in Game 2, Cliff Lee in Game 3 and Tommy Hunter in Game 4.

* The Rangers will drop infielder Esteban German for the ALCS. Washington said the Rangers want an extra reliever for the seven-game ALCS. The possibilities are left-handers Michael Kirkman, Clay Rapada and Matt Harrison, or right-handers Mark Lowe and Scott Feldman. A left-hander seems likely.

* Washington said he wants to get Jorge Cantu in at first base against Yankees left-handers Andy Pettitte and C.C. Sabathia. He just isn’t sure what games Cantu will start.

* Pay attention, this is good: Nelson Cruz and Ian Kinsler both hit three home runs in the ALDS. The only other team to have two players hit three home runs in a playoff series was the 1928 New York Yankees. Babe Ruth hit three and Lou Gehrig hit four.

* Remember both Elvis Andrus and Vladimir Guerrero scoring from second base on an infield grounder on Tuesday night? That hasn’t happened in post-season since the 1970 World Series. Paul Blair did it in Game 5 for the Orioles over the Reds.

Anyone else still disagree that we need one more right handed power bat? Cantu? What a waste. Maybe he does something in this series, could Michael Young do any worse. Anyone else growing weary of seeing Hamilton not participating in the alcohol celebration? Come on he can go to a bar and have whipped cream placed on his body but can’t celebrate with his teammates. Hey Josh take your million dollar babysitter with you and turn on the cameras and exercise what the rest of us call self-control. PS, if you don’t start hitting then you won’t have to worry about any more celebrations this year. Hey Vlad stop swinging at balls out of the strike zone, unless you are going to hit them over the fence.

mb will never quit his bitching. He’s the whiner who claims to be a fan of the Rangers then complains about their victory celebration rather than actually enoying it. He’s lied multiple times about not posting here anymore, so it’s funny that he attacks Josh Hamilton’s character. He’d like to see Josh relapse so he can say “I told you so.” I guess he’d also rather still have Edinson Volquez and his 20+ post season ERA.

I see Rangers fans aren’t that different from Cowboys fans…

It’s quite obvious you don’t understand the nature of addiction and recovery afterwards.

They won, quit your bitching.

That is all.

Sorry about that. I meant “bm”, not “mb”. Hey, that reminds me, bm. The Rangers catchers have been on base 8 times in 5 playoff games. How many times has Pudge been on base this postseason?

This bm person is the laughable embodiment of a true Dooshwag

Wow! Only a couple of days into the greatest week of Rangers baseball ever and D’god/BM pulls out his usual ugliness to try and dash all that is positive. D’god, you are the most negative and arrogant person I have ever seen. You either type your crap because you crave attention, or, you are just and unhappy negative dude who wouldn’t know a good time if it slapped you in the face. You have identified yourself as a police officer in the past. What a disgrace to the profession you must be. I pity the people in the city where you work and I pity the good men and women who have to work around you. You tell Josh to exercise self control which is what he is doing by excusing himself from the celebration. I wish you would become an Astros fan or something because I get angry every time you post your mindless dribble. Brad, you have zero credibility.
