Lee unlikely for Tuesday
Cliff Lee is doubtful for Tuesday’s start against the Blue Jays because of continued soreness in a strained muscle in his lower back.
Lee played catch in the outfield on Saturday but did not throw a scheduled bullpen because he still felt some discomfort in the back. Lee will play catch again on Sunday and may try to throw off the mound.
Lee wants to pitch on Tuesday but the Rangers would rather err on the side of caution. General manager Jon Daniels said the Rangers are not ruling out Tuesday but want to get Lee healthy.
Rich Harden could pitch. The Rangers could also bring Scott Feldman off the disabled list and have him start.

Anyone think this is over now? Anyone think we’re running away with the West? This isn’t going to be over for a while yet!
